Ingredients

  • – Chicken Boneless (Cube Cutting) 500g
  • – Mehran Ginger Paste 2 Tsp
  • – Black Pepper Powder 1 Tsp
  • – Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
  • – Mehran Vinegar 1 ½ tbsp
  • – Soy Sauce 1 ½ tbsp
  • – Tomato Ketchup 6-8 tbsp
  • – Salt as per taste
  • – Corn Flour 2 tbsp
  • – Maida Flour 1 tbsp
  • – Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
  • – Egg 1 piece
  • – Cooking Oil 2 tbsp
  • – Green Chilli (Chopped) 5g
  • – Sugar 1 ½ tbsp
  • – Chicken Stock ½ cup
  • – Green Onion 5g

Cooking Method

  1. 1- In a bowl, add chicken, salt, corn flour (1 tbsp), maida, lemon juice, Mehran Garlic Paste (1 tsp), Mehran Ginger Paste (1 tsp), Mehran Black Pepper Powder, Mehran Red Chilli Powder, egg and mix it well. Keep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. 2- In a cooking pan, add cooking oil (as needed), marinated chicken and deep fry until light brown.
  3. 3- In another cooking pan, add cooking oil, Mehran Ginger Paste (1 tsp), Mehran Garlic Paste (1 tsp), fried chicken, salt, green chilli, Mehran Soy Sauce, Mehran Tomato Ketchup, sugar, Mehran Vinegar, chicken stock and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4- Next, add corn flour (1 tbsp) mixed with water (3 tbsp).
  5. 5- Use green onion for garnishing.
  6. Serve with Egg Fried Rice.
  7. Your tasty Chicken Manchurian now ready to serve.

Ingredients

for sugar syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cardamom, powdered
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
for gulab jamun
  • 9 tbsp milk powder
  • 3½ tbsp maida / all-purpose flour / plain flour
  • 1 tbsp rava / semolina / sooji
  • pinch of baking soda
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ghee / clarified butter
  • 4-5 tbsp milk, warm

Instructions ( 1 cup =255 ml)

sugar syrup recipe
  1. firstly, in a wide pan take 1 cup of sugar.
  2. further, to that add 1 cup of water and get to a boil.
  3. then simmer for 4 minutes till the sugar syrup turns slightly sticky.
  4. now add cardamom powder.
  5. also, add lemon juice to stop crystallization process.
  6. cover and keep aside.

How to Make

  1. firstly in a large mixing bowl take milk powder.
  2. further, to that add maida and rava.
  3. then add a pinch of baking soda
  4. also add ghee, lemon juice and crumble well.
  5. slowly add milk little by little and knead well.
  6. knead to a smooth and soft dough.
  7. furthermore, make small balls greasing ghee to hands.
  8. make sure there are no cracks in balls. else there are chances for gulab jamun to break while frying.
  9. heat the ghee on low flame and when the ghee is moderately hot, fry the jamuns.
  10. fry the balls on low flame stirring in between.
  11. fry till the balls turn golden brown.
  12. immediately, drop the hot jamuns into the hot sugar syrup.
  13. cover the lid and rest for 2 hours. the flame should be turned off.
  14. finally, the jamuns have doubled in size.

Ingredients used in Chicken Biryani Restaurant Style

  • Basmati Rice – 1 kg
  • Chicken – 1.5 kg with bone
  • Oil – 3/4 cup
  • Onion – 3 large sliced thinly
  • Saffron a pinch
  • Warm Milk – 1/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup finely chopped
  • Mint Leaves – 1/4 cup finely chopped
  • Ghee – 3 tblspn
  • Cashews – 50 grams
  • Kishmish / Sultanas – 50 grams
  • Kewra Essence few drops
  • Rose Essence few drops
  • Salt to taste

For Marination

  • Chilli Powder – 2 tblspn
  • Coriander Powder / Malli Podi – 3 tblspn
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup chopped finely
  • Mint Leaves – 1/2 cup chopped finely
  • Thick Unsour Curd – 1.5 cup
  • Green Chillies – 4 broken into big pieces
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 tblspn
  • Special Garam Masala Powder – recipe below
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tblspn
Method
  1. Powder the special garam masala powder.
  2. Start by marinating the chicken with all the ingredients given. Let it marinate for 2 hours but overnight is great.
  3. Wash and soak basmati rice for an hour.
  4. Bring lots of water with salt to a boil. Once it boils, add in the drained rice and cook it for 5 to 7 mins till it is 90 percent done. When you taste it, it should have a bite.Drain it and set aside.
  5. Heat oil in a big pot which you are making biryani.
  6. Add in onions and fry until golden, drain and set aside.
  7. Soak saffron in some warm milk, heat ghee in a saucepan and fry cashews and raisins until golden.
  8. In the same oil add in chicken and mix well for 5 mins.
  9. Now layer the rice over it, top with fried onions, chopped herbs, saffron milk, fried nuts along with the ghee, kewra and rose essence. Cover the entire pot with foil and cover with a plate. Place a weight on it and let it cook on a very very low flame for 30 to 35 mins.
  10. Now remove the weight and foil and fluff the rice carefully.
  11. Serve.

These elements work to essentially eat away at the dry skin without harming the healthy tissue, revealing smooth and soft feet. Create a paste with one banana, half a coconut’s worth of coconut flesh and a half of an avocado. Once the paste is ready, apply it to your feet and let it sit for 15 minutes before washing it off with warm water. Once your feet are clean, pat them dry and apply a thick moisturizer.

 لندن: ایک برطانوی خاتون کو دل کا عطیہ ملنے تک ایک مصنوعی دل لگایا گیا ہے جس کا پورا نظام ایک بیگ میں بند ہے جو ہمیشہ خاتون کے ساتھ رہتا ہے۔

39 سالہ سلویٰ حسین اس بیگ کو ہمیشہ اپنے ساتھ رکھتی ہیں جس سے نکلنے والی دو نلکیاں ان کی ناف کے سوراخ سے اندر جارہی ہیں۔ پلاسٹک کے شفاف پائپ ان کے سینے کے اندر تک جاتے ہیں اور سینے کے اندر موجود دو غباروں کو پھلاتے ہیں جن کی مدد سے خون پورے بدن میں اسی طرح دوڑتا ہے جس طرح دل اسے پمپ کرتا ہے۔

سلویٰ حسین ایک مرض کارڈیو مایوپیتھی کی شکار ہیں جس میں دل مکمل طور پر ناکارہ ہوجاتا ہے اور بدن میں خون پمپ کرنے کے قابل نہیں رہتا۔ بعض حالات میں دورانِ حمل بھی یہ کیفیت پیدا ہوتی ہے لیکن یہ بہت ہی نایاب عمل ہے۔ اس سال کے آغاز میں سلویٰ کو سینے میں شدید تکلیف محسوس ہوئی اور انہیں ڈاکٹر کے پاس لے جایا گیا جہاں ڈاکٹر نے اسے گیس کا درد قرار دیا۔

تاہم بعد میں معلوم ہوا کہ انہیں ایک ہارٹ اٹیک ہوا اور اب دل تیزی سے کمزور ہوتا جارہا ہے۔ اس کے بعد ڈاکٹروں نے مشورہ کرکے انہیں امریکی کمپنی کا تیار کردہ ایک مصنوعی دل لگادیا ہے جس کےلیے 6 گھنٹے کا طویل آپریشن کیا گیا اور اس پر 86 ہزار برطانوی پاؤنڈ کی لاگت آئی جو پاکستانی رقم میں ایک کروڑ 28 لاکھ روپے بنتی ہے۔

اس طرح سلویٰ حسین برطانیہ کی وہ پہلی خاتون ہیں جنہیں یہ دل لگایا گیا ہے۔ مصنوعی دل اور اس کے پورے نظام کو سرجن ڈیانا گارسیا سائز نے دیگر ڈاکٹروں کی مدد سے نصب کیا ہے۔

جب تک سلویٰ حسین کو دل کا عطیہ نہیں مل جاتا اس وقت تک یہ پورا سسٹم ان کے ساتھ رہے گا اور وہ اپنے دل کو اپنی پیٹھ پر ایک بیگ میں رکھ کر سفر کرتی ہیں۔ قبل ازیں 50 سالہ برطانوی شخص کو یہ نظام لگایا گیا تھا اور خوش قسمتی سے دو سال بعد ان کے لیے دل کا عطیہ مل گیا جسے مریض میں منتقل کردیا گیا اور اب وہ معمول کے تحت زندگی گزار رہا ہے۔

سلویٰ حسین نے نئے سال پر خوشی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے اپنے اہلِ خانہ اور قابل ڈاکٹروں کا شکریہ ادا کیا ہے۔

بچے کو نہلانا

مائیں بچوں کو روز ہی نہلاتی ہیں۔ وہ اسے دوسرے گھریلو امور کی طرح معمول کا کام سمجھتی ہیں اور جلدازجلد اس سے فارغ ہوکر دوسرے کام میں لگ جانے کی خواہش رکھتی ہیں۔ اسی لیے وہ بچے کو جیسے تیسے نہلاکر دوسرے کاموں کی طرف متوجہ ہوجاتی ہیں۔

بعض خواتین سوچ رہی ہوں گی کہ بچے کو نہلانا کیا کوئی ایسا کام ہے جسے خصوصی توجہ کے ساتھ کیا جائے۔ بہ ظاہر یہ کوئی خاص کام نہیں لیکن آپ اس وقت کو اتنا خاص اور دل چسپ بناسکتی ہیں کہ آپ اور آپ کا بچہ روزانہ اس وقت کا انتظار کرے گا۔

بچے کو غسل دینے کا وقت بچے اور ماں کے لیے ان مواقع میں سے ہے جو انھیں آپس میں جوڑتے ہیں۔ آپ کس طرح اس وقت کو خوش گوار بنا سکتی ہیں؟ اس کے لیے آپ بچے کو نہلانے کا وقت مخصوص کرلیں بالکل ایسے ہی جیسے کھانے پکانے کے اوقات مخصوص ہوتے ہیں۔ اس بات کو یقینی بنائیں کہ آپ کے پاس کافی وقت ہو، تاکہ آپ بچے کو غسل دینے میں عجلت سے کام نہ لیں۔ بچے کو نہلانے کے لیے باتھ ٹب کا ہونا ضروری ہے تاکہ وہ آرام سے اس میں بیٹھ کر نہا سکے۔ چھوٹے بچے باتھ ٹب میں بڑے مزے سے بیٹھ جاتے ہیں اور اسے پکڑ لیتے ہیں یوں بچے کو نہلانا آسان ہوجاتا ہے۔

بچوں کو غسل دینے کے لیے بے بی شیمپو استعمال کریں۔ یہ شیمپو خاص چھوٹے بچوں کو نہلانے کے لیے ہی ہوتا ہے جس میں شامل اجزا بچوں کی آنکھوں میں جلن پیدا نہی کرتے اور وہ بڑے سکون کے ساتھ نہاتے رہتے ہیں۔ آپ بڑے پرسکون انداز میں بچے کو نہلائیں اور اس عمل کے دوران اس سے بات چیت کرتی رہیں، یا مسکراتے ہوئے اسے دیکھیں۔ آپ باتھ ٹب میں چھوٹے چھوٹے سے نرم کھلونے ڈال سکتی ہیں تاکہ وہ ان سے کھیلتا رہے، آپ خود بھی اس کے ساتھ کھیلیں تاکہ بچہ خوش ہو اور مزے سے نہائے۔

دوران غسل بچے کا رونا آپ کو پریشان کرسکتا ہے۔ بچے کو بہلانے کے لیے اس سے باتیں کریں اور اس کی توجہ ہٹانے کی کوشش کریں۔ نہلانے کے بعد بچے کا جسم خشک کرنے کے لیے نرم ترین تولیہ استعمال کریں۔ تولیہ اس کے بدن پر رگڑیں نہیں بلکہ نرمی سے جسم پر رکھ کر نمی اس میں جذب کریں۔ جسم خشک کرکے اسے مناسب کپڑے پہنادیں۔

خیال رکھیں کہ گرم یا ٹھنڈے پانی سے نہلانے سے بچے کو نقصان کا اندیشہ نہیں ہوتا، البتہ گیلے بدن پر ٹھنڈی ہوا لگنے سے وہ بیمار پڑ سکتا ہے۔ چھ ماہ کے بعد معالجین سفارش کرتے ہیں کہ بچے کو نسبتاً ٹھنڈے پانی سے نہلانے کی عادت ڈالی جائے۔ اس طرح اس میں سرد موسم اور بیماری کے خلاف مزاحمت پیدا ہوتی ہے۔ بچے کو روزانہ غسل کی عادت اس کی صحت کی ضمانت ہے۔ اس طرح وہ ہشاش بشاش رہتا ہے اور اس میں صاف ستھرا رہنے کی عادت پروان چڑھتی ہے۔ بچے کو نہلائیں توجہ اور احتیاط سے۔

موسم سرما میں بچے کو نہلانے سے پہلے سرسوں کے تیل کی مالش کریں تو بچے کو سردی کے اثرات سے محفوظ رکھا جاسکتا ہے اور بچہ بھی صحت مند رہے گا۔ تیل کی مالش بچے کی صحت کے لیے بہت ضروری ہے۔ تیل سے مالش کرتے وقت آپ دیکھیں گی کہ بچہ خوش ہے، مالش کے دوران بچہ کھیلے گا اور خوب ہاتھ پیر چلائے گا۔ مالش کے بعد بچہ نہائے گا تو وہ ہر طرح کے جراثیم سے محفوظ ہوجائے گا اور بڑے آرام سے سوئے گا۔

موسم سرما میں بچے کو نہلانے کے بعد تھوڑی دیر کے لیے دھوپ میں لٹانے سے اس کی صحت پر مثبت اثر پڑتا ہے۔ دھوپ وٹامن ڈی کے حصول کا بہترین ذریعہ ہے جو بچے کی ہڈیوں کے لیے بہت ضروری ہے۔ اس لیے بچے کو دھوپ میں ضرور رکھیں۔ دھوپ کی شعاعوں سے ہر طرح کے جراثیم اور بیکٹیریا ختم ہوجاتے ہیں۔ جہاں تک ممکن ہوسکے بچے کو سردیوں میں روزانہ دھوپ دکھائیں تاکہ اسے وٹامن ڈی ملے اور صحت اچھی رہے۔

سردی کے موسم میں کئی قسم کے پھل پیدا ہوتے ہیں، جیسے کینو، موسمی، نارنگی، فروٹر وغیرہ۔ ان کا ذائقہ ترش ہوتا ہے۔ یہ پھل وٹامن سی سے بھرپور ہوتے ہیں۔ عموماً لوگوں کو سردی میں ترش اورکھٹی چیزیں کچھ زیادہ ہی کھٹی محسوس ہوتی ہیں اس کی وجہ موسم کی خنکی ہوتی ہے۔ بہت سے لوگ سمجھتے ہیں کہ سرد موسم میں ترش پھل کھانا نقصان دہ ہوتا ہے، حالاں کہ حقیقت اس کے برعکس ہے۔ یہ کیسے ممکن ہے کہ جو پھل خاص سردیوں میں ہوتے ہیں وہ انسانی صحت کے لیے نقصان دہ ہوں۔
