تنہا رہنے سے ڈیمنشیا لاحق ہونے کا خطرہ بڑھ جاتا ہے

فلوریڈا: ہزاروں افراد پر کئے گئے ایک سروے سے انکشاف ہوا ہےکہ اکیلا پن ایک جانب تواُداسی اور ڈپریشن کی وجہ بنتا ہے لیکن مسلسل تنہائی ڈیمنشیا جیسے مرض کو بھی جنم دیتی ہے۔ اس سروے میں مختلف افراد کی تنہائی کے مختلف ذہنی اثرات اور سماجی روابط کو بھی ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔

فلوریڈا اسٹیٹ یونیورسٹی (ایف ایس یو) کے ماہرین نے  12030 افراد کا جائزہ لیا جن کی اوسط عمر 50 برس یا اس سے ذیادہ تھی۔ اس طویل مطالعے کے تفصیل’ دی جرنلز آف گیرنٹولوجی‘ میں شائع ہوئی ہیں۔ سروے میں شامل ڈاکٹر اینجلینا سیوٹن نے کہا ہے کہ اگرچہ یہ تنہائی اور ڈیمنشیا کے درمیان تعلق کی پہلی کوشش نہیں لیکن اس میں ایک طویل فالواپ ہوگا اور اس میں مختلف آبادیوں اور گروہوں کو شامل کیا گیا ہے۔

سروے کے دوران وقفے وقفے سے شرکا سے سوالات کئے گئے جن میں تنہائی اور ذہنی کیفیت کے متعلق پوچھا گیا۔ مسلسل دس برس تک ہر دو سال بعد لوگوں سے سوالات کئے گئے اور اختتام تک 1104 افراد کو ڈینمشیا لاحق ہوگیا تھا۔ اس کے بعد جمع شدہ ڈیٹا کا بھی بغور جائزہ لیا گیا۔

دس سالہ طویل سروے اور ڈیٹا سے ظاہر ہوا ہے کہ تنہائی کے شکار افراد میں ڈینمشیا کا خطرہ دیگر کے مقابلے میں 40 فیصد تک بڑھ جاتا ہے۔ ایک اور بات یہ سامنے آئی کہ اگر بزرگ افراد کی قلبی صحت درست ہو تو ان میں ڈیمنشیا کا امکان بڑھ جاتا ہے۔

اس سے قبل طبی ماہرین کہہ چکے ہیں کہ تنہائی سے ڈپریشن، ذہنی تناؤ، ہائی بلڈ پریشر اور ذیابیطس جیسی کیفیات لاحق ہوجاتی ہیں۔ پھر ورزش نہ کرنے اور تمباکو نوشی سے مزید خطرات لاحق ہوتے ہیں۔ اسی بنا پر تنہائی کو ڈیمنشیا کی اہم وجہ قرار دیا جارہا ہے۔

عالمی ادارہ صحت (ڈبلیو ایچ او) نے ڈیمنشیا کی تعریف کرتے ہوئے اسے وہ مرض قرار دیا جس میں حافظہ شدید متاثر ہوتا ہے، سوچنے ، سمجھنے اور برتاؤ میں تبدیلی ہوتی ہے اور انسان روزمرہ کام بھی نہیں کرپاتا۔ اس وقت دنیا بھر میں 5 کروڑ افراد اس تکلیف دہ کیفیت کے شکار ہیں اور دوسروں کے محتاج ہوکر رہ گئے ہیں۔

امریکن اکیڈمی آف ڈرمیٹولوجی کے مطابق بالوں کا جھڑنا موروثی بیماری بھی ہوسکتی ہے جسے اینڈروجینیٹک ایلو پیشیا کہا جاتا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ ہارمون کے تبدیل ہونے اورمختلف دوائیوں کے ضمنی اثرات (سائیڈ ایفیکٹس) کی وجہ سے بھی بال جھڑتے ہیں، تاہم پیاز کے رس سے بال جھڑنے کے عمل کو روکا جاسکتا ہے۔

تحقیقی جریدے ’’جرنل آف ڈرمیٹولوجی‘‘ میں شائع شدہ ایک تحقیق کے مطابق پیاز کے رس کو بالوں کی جڑوں پر لگائیے، یہ رس بالوں کو دوبارہ اگانے میں مددگار ثابت ہوگا۔ تحقیق کے مطابق اگر  پیاز کا رس دن میں دوبار لگایا جائے تو دوہفتوں اندر اندر بال دوبارہ اگنا شروع ہوجاتے ہیں۔

جن لوگوں کو پیاز سے الرجی ہے وہ اپنے سر پر بالوں کا رس نہ لگائیں۔

اگر پیاز کی بو بہت زیادہ محسوس ہو تو اس میں تھوڑا سا لیموں کا رس اور عرق گلاب ڈال لیجیے۔

ان خیالات کا اظہار ڈاکٹر عبید احمد ہاشمی، ڈاکٹر ندیم اسد، ڈاکٹر عبدالطیف جونیجو، ڈاکٹر ضیا خان نے المصطفیٰ میڈیکل سینٹر میں عالمی یوم فالج کے موقع پر منعقدہ آگہی سیمینار سے خطاب میں کیا سیمینار میں کراچی یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر ڈاکٹر اجمل خان نے شرکت کی، سیمینار سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے طبی ماہرین نے کہا کہ شوگر کی بیماری، ہائی بلڈ پریشر اور کولیسٹرول کی زیادتی دل کے ساتھ ساتھ فالج کی بیماریوں کے بڑھنے کی سب سے بڑی وجہ ہے۔

علاج کے حوالے سے انھوں نے کہا کہ فالج ہونے کے بعد بھی شوگر، بلڈ پریشر، کولیسٹرول اور دل کی بیماریوں کو کنٹرول کرنے پر توجہ دی جاتی ہے، فالج کے مرض کی شدت کا اندازہ سی ٹی اسکین اور ایم آر آئی کے بعد لگایا جاتا ہے، مہمان خصوصی کراچی یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر ڈاکٹر اجمل خان نے بھی خیالات کا اظہار کیا اور مرض سے بچاؤ کے لیے احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کرنے کا مشورہ دیا اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر حاجی محمد حنیف طیب نے مہمانوں کا شکریہ ادا کیا ۔

ذیابیطس کے مریضوں میں ٹی بی کا بھی کئی گنا خطرہ

دی ہیگ: خون میں شکر کی غیرمعمولی مقدار کے حامل ذیابیطس کے مریضوں میں تپ دق (ٹی بی) سے متاثر ہونے کا خطرہ زیادہ بڑھ جاتا ہے۔

ماہرین نے کہا ہے کہ ذیابیطس کے مریضوں میں ٹی بی کا خطرہ بڑھ جاتا ہے اور یہ دونوں بیماریاں مل کر مریض کی کیفیت کو مزید ابتر کرسکتی ہیں۔ اس بات کا انکشاف ہالینڈ کے شہر ہیگ میں نظامِ تنفس کی صحت سے متعلق بین الاقوامی کانفرنس میں کیا گیا۔

لندن اسکول آف ہائیجن اینڈ ٹراپیکل میڈیسن نے اس ضمن میں جنوبی افریقا، رومانیہ، انڈونیشیا اور پیرو میں ایسے مریضوں کے خون کا جائزہ لیا ہے جو ٹی بی اور ذیابیطس کے شکار تھے۔

ان مریضوں کے خون میں شکر کی مقدار زیادہ تو تھی لیکن وہ ذیابیطس کے مکمل مریض کی بجائے اس کے کنارے پر موجود تھے۔ ماہرین یہ جان کر حیران رہ گئے کہ جن مریضوں کو شوگر نہیں ہوئی تھی ان کے خون میں بھی ایسے سالمات (مالیکیولز) تھے جو پہلے ٹی بی اور شوگر دونوں امراض والے افراد میں دیکھے گئے تھے۔

ٹی بی اور پھیھپڑوں کے امراض کے خلاف سرگرم بین الاقوامی یونین کے تحقیقی سربراہ اجے کمار نے کہا کہ ’اس سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ ذیابیطس لاحق ہونے کے بعد ٹی بی ہونے کے خدشات بڑھ جاتے ہیں  یہی وجہ ہے کہ بھارت میں ٹی بی کے مریضوں کی ایک چوتھائی تعداد کو ذیابیطس کے ٹیسٹ سے بھی گزارا جاتا ہے‘۔

امراض کا طوفان

ذیابیطس اور ٹی بی کے درمیان تعلق سے ماہرین واقف ہیں۔ ذیابیطس دھیرے دھیرے بدن کا دفاعی نظام کمزور کرتی ہے جو ٹی بی اور دیگر بیماریوں کے سامنے تر نوالہ بن سکتا ہے۔ اگرچہ پچھلے 10 برس میں ٹی بی اور اس کی اموات میں کمی ہوئی ہے لیکن ٹائپ ٹو ذیابیطس میں ہول ناک اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

عالمی ادارہ برائے صحت کے مطابق کرہ ارض پر چار میں سے ایک فرد میں ٹی بی کے جراثیم موجود ہیں جبکہ 45 کروڑ سے زائد افراد ٹائپ ٹو ذیابیطس کا شکار ہیں۔

اسی بنا پر ماہرین نے کہا ہے کہ بھارت، چین، پاکستان اور دیگر ممالک میں ذیابیطس اور ٹی بی کے درمیان تعلق صحتِ عامہ کے لیے ایک چیلنج بن چکا ہے جس کے لیے ضروری اقدامات کرنا ہوں گے۔

امریکا کے دفاع کو درپیش نیا خطرہ۔۔۔’’توند‘‘

امریکا کو کسی ملک پر دھاوا بولنا ہو، کسی کو پابندیوں کے نرغے میں لینا ہو، اپنے مفادات کے لیے کہیں بھی مداخلت کرنی ہو، اس کی کسی منطق میں وزن ہوتا ہے نہ اس کے پاس کوئی بھاری دلیل ہوتی ہے، اسے وہائٹ ہاؤس کی دھونس دھاندلی سمجھا جاتا ہے، حالاں کہ بات یہ ہے کہ سارا وزن اور بھاری پن امریکی شہریوں نے اپنے قبضے میں کر رکھا ہے، اس لیے امریکی حکومتوں کی منطق اور دلیلوں کے لیے وزن بچا ہی نہیں۔

نہیں سمجھے۔۔۔۔ارے ہم بات کر رہے ہیں امریکیوں کے مٹاپے کی۔ اب تو یہ مٹاپا بڑھتے بڑھتے امریکا کے دفاع کے لیے بھی خطرہ بن گیا ہے۔

ہوا یوں کہ امریکی فوج نے اس سال 76 ہزار پانچ سو نئی بھرتیاں کرنے کی ٹھانی تھی، لیکن اب اعلان کیا گیا ہے کہ 6 ہزار پانچ سو افراد کے بھرتی نہ ہونے کے باعث یہ ہدف پورا نہ ہوسکا۔

امریکی محکمۂ دفاع کا کہنا ہے کہ ہدف میں ناکامی کی وجوہات میں سرفہرست مٹاپا ہے، جس کے باعث سترہ سے چوبیس سال تک کے اکہتر فی صد امریکی فوج میں بھرتی ہونے کے معیار پر پورے نہیں اُترتے۔ اب ظاہر ہے جو لوگ خود ’’توپ‘‘ ہوجائیں وہ فوج میں کیسے جگہ پائیں گے، سو امریکی فوج کو تشویش ہے کہ امریکیوں کی کمریں اور توندیں یوں ہی بڑھتی رہیں تو جنگوں میں جھونکنے کے لیے فوجی کہاں سے آئیں گے؟

لگتا ہے امریکیوں کے وزن بڑھنے کا یہی عالم رہا تو امریکا افغانستان میں بم برسانے کے بہ جائے ’’امریکی‘‘ برسایا کرے گا جو کسی بم سے کم نہیں رہے۔ پھر اس طرح کی خبریں آئیں گی ’’قندھار میں مسٹرجانسن برسا کر چھے طالبان کو ہلاک کردیا گیا‘‘،’’داعش کے ٹھکانے پر امریکی حملہ، مسٹر واٹسن کے پھٹنے سے پندرہ انتہاپسند مارے گئے۔‘‘

امریکیوں کا معاملہ یہ ہے کہ وہ پوری دنیا کو تو اپنی جاگیر سمجھتے ہیں، لیکن جب خوراک سامنے آئے تو اپنے پیٹ کو بھی اپنا سمجھ کر نہیں کھاتے، اسے عراق اور افغانستان سمجھ کر پیزے اور برگر برساتے ہیں۔ وہ جتنا کھاتے ہیں اگر اس سے آدھا بھی اقوام عالم پر رحم کھائیں تو دنیا میں امن قائم ہوجائے۔

According to a Cuban professor, the disease cannot be diagnosed even if the first two factors are present. That can only be done when there is a presence of the third factor!

However, things are bad if the third factor is present.

That is why you should not stay angry for a longer period of time.- “get mad, but briefly, get rid of your anger and forget about it! Do not worry too much about what was or what should have been.” These are the recommendations of Dr. Fernando Areses– who is one of the greatest experts in the field.

The beginnings of the researches were conducted by the biology of Meshach Bordier which included venom of a blue scorpion. The scientist had positive results on the patients, and was able to treat cancer affected organs.

He managed to synthesize a product called Esco Zul. After the conducted research, Cuba’s Ministry of Health classified them as toxins of natural origin which have analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor properties.

It was observed that 97% of patients had improved their quality of life and completely got rid of the cancer cells. So far, this medicament was applied to more than 100,000 people from Spain, Cuba and Latin America.

How does it work?

Cuban scientists have isolated the powerful meningitis protein that is implemented in another protein called “epidermal growth factor” or EGF.
