Ramzan Chicken Samosa Recipe With Homemade Sheets

Homemade Chicken Samosa Recipe

I had a long day today, on my way back home I thought I shouldn’t cook anything tonight. Instead I should dine out or carry out or make my man cook etc etc, so many thoughts I had. After I reached home, I tried to go with my plans and to sit on the couch doing nothing. After a few minutes of resting, I just went into the kitchen to take something. I did spend more time than I needed, I am not sure why I took a few more things out of the pantry and the refrigerator. Nothing happend as I planned, things were out of my control and I came out of the kitchen with these crispy, crunchy and of course delicious chicken samosas. I couldn’t be happier and my man couldn’t be happier.

I literally cannot remember the last time I’d made samosas,  I know it doesn’t sound that good when I say this as samosas are such delicious snacks that are very very hard to resist. Whenever, I got the craving for samosas I used to get from a small homely Indian restaurant in my city, they even custom baked the samosas for me. That’s how I succumbed to my cravings. So, today unknowingly I fried some samosas, it was so delicious.

Benefits of Basil Seeds (Tukmaria) For Weight Loss

Benefits of Basil Seeds

Chia seeds have been touted for weight loss and appetite control. Basil seeds belong to the same family as chia seeds (mint family) and these seeds are also to be excellent for weight loss. Basil seeds are also known as Tukmaria or Sabja.

The essential oil of Sweet Basil contains more than 200 therapeutic compounds. The herb is rich in flavonoids, phytosterols, polyphenols, triterpines, alkaloids each of which contributes to its medicinal properties.

Tukmaria or sweet basil seeds are oval in shape and black in color. They look similar to poppy seeds. They are larger than chia seeds and swell faster. They contain planteose, mucilage, polysaccharides and oil rich in linoleic acid, linolenic acid and unsaturated fatty acids.

Now let’s go over a couple of reasons why Basil seeds or Sabja could be a potential weight loss food.
1. Basil seeds have essential fatty acids that help in weight loss
Basil seeds contain oil which comprises of approximately 50% linoleic acid, 22% linolenic acid, 15% oleic acid and 8% unsaturated fatty acids.

This is a good blend of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. Linolenic acid is the good omega 6 fatty acid that has anti-inflammatory property.

In fact, even Tukmaria seed oil has proven anti-inflammatory activity. This can help curb inflammation in obesity.

Linoleic acid is an important precursor to an anti-obesity agent, conjugated linoleic acid. Research indicates that conjugated linoleic acid exerts an anti-obesity effect in the following ways:

Reducing energy intake
Increasing basal metabolic rate
Inhibiting development of fat cells
Suppressing fat production and stimulating breakdown of fats
A study published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2004 revealed that daily supplementation with Conjugated linoleic acid for 1 year resulted in the fat loss of 6-9% in healthy overweight individuals.

Further, a review study published in the same journal in 2007 also suggested that CLA supplementation can bring about modest weight loss.

So your daily dose of basil seeds can provide you with a good blend of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids that can help counteract inflammation and help in fat loss.

Easy way to Remove Unwanted Hair From Face naturally

Remove Unwanted Hair From Face naturally

Let’s face it. Unwanted hair on the face is our biggest nightmare. But the moment we try to thread it off, we get angry red blotches on our face. So, we try waxing next. Now, our face is not only red and spotty, but also swollen and sore. We solemnly vow that we are not going to experiment anymore. But right before the next date/party/wedding, we are left wondering – what harm can a single session do? And we are back to pedaling the vicious cycle! Fear not! As always, Mother Nature has provided us with amazing solutions that, over time, will help us bid adieu to the much-hated facial hair. I said ‘over time’ because natural remedies take longer to show results. But sticking to natural products won’t damage your sensitive facial skin, unlike those remedies that promise instant results. And unless you are allergic to any of the ingredients, they will not have any side effects.
Did you know that you can make your own wax at home? You don’t need to buy wax from the store, you can prepare your own using a few simple ingredients you’ll find in your kitchen.

Did you know that you can make your own wax at home? You don’t need to buy wax from the store, you can prepare your own using a few simple ingredients you’ll find in your kitchen.

How it’s done:

  • Pour two tablespoons of sugar into a microwave-safe bowl or container, and add in a tablespoon each of honey and water.
  • Place the mixture in the microwave for 30 seconds, or heat it in a double boiler on the stove.
  • Boil it until the sugar dissolves and mixes with the liquids.
  • You will end up with a thick, waxy substance.
  • Use a spatula or wax applicator to stir the wax, and apply it to the parts of your face with the facial hair you want to eliminate.
  • Place a strip of cloth over the freshly applied wax, let it cool for a couple of seconds, then pull.
  • The wax will rip out the hair, leaving your face fresh and clean.
  • If the homemade wax cools, place it back in the double boiler, or heat it in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds. Repeat until your face I s free of hair!

How to Remove Facial Hair Permanently at Home: Sugaring

This is an ancient hair removal method that WORKS! It’s easily as effective as waxing plus it can be less painful and irritating for your skin. If you have sensitive skin that is prone to redness, this could be the best natural option for hair removal.

How it’s done:

  • Place a quarter cup of water in a stockpot or saucepan, and place the pot on the stove.
  • Once the water is hot, add a ¼ cup of lemon juice and 2 cups of regular table sugar (white or brown, it doesn’t matter).
  • Mix and continue heating until the mixture begins to bubble, then turn the fire to low and let it simmer.
  • Turn it off once the mixture turns an amber color.
  • Remove the pot from the stove and let it cool slightly.
  • As the mixture is cooling, apply a dusting of baby powder or cornstarch to your skin.
  • This will prevent the mixture from sticking to your skin, reducing irritation.
  • Apply the slightly cooled paste to your face, going in the opposite direction to the hair. Place a cotton strip or a clean cloth over the paste.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes, until the paste has hardened. Rip it off by pulling in the direction of your hairs. Repeat until all facial hair has been removed.

5 Most Common Early Signs And Symptoms Of Pregnancy

Most Common Early Signs And Symptoms Of Pregnancy

ut even before you miss a period, you may suspect – or hope – that you’re pregnant. For some women, early symptoms of pregnancy begin in the first few weeks after conception.

Pregnancy symptoms can also vary in their intensity, frequency and duration. The following early signs and symptoms of pregnancy checklist are only a guideline. Many early pregnancy symptoms can appear similar to routine pre-menstrual discomforts.

Pregnancy symptoms: The classic clues
Tender, swollen breasts
Your breasts may provide one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. As early as two weeks after conception, hormonal changes may make your breasts tender, tingly or sore. Or your breasts may feel fuller and heavier.

Fatigue
Fatigue and tiredness also ranks high among early symptoms of pregnancy. During early pregnancy, levels of the hormone progesterone soar. In high enough doses, progesterone can put you to sleep. At the same time, lower blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure and increased blood production may team up to sap your energy during your pregnancy.

Slight bleeding or cramping
Sometimes a small amount of spotting or vaginal bleeding is one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. Known as implantation bleeding, it happens when the fertilised egg attaches to the lining of the uterus – about 10 to 14 days after fertilisation. This type of bleeding is usually a bit earlier, spottier and lighter in colour than a normal period and doesn’t last as long. Some women also experience abdominal cramping early in pregnancy. These cramps are similar to menstrual cramps.

 Nausea with or without vomiting

Morning sickness, which can strike at any time of the day or night, is one of the classic symptoms of pregnancy. For some women, the queasiness begins as early as two weeks after conception. Nausea seems to stem at least in part from rapidly rising levels of estrogen, which causes the stomach to empty more slowly. Pregnant women also have a heightened sense of smell, so various odors – such as foods cooking, perfume or cigarette smoke – may cause waves of nausea in early pregnancy. There are some hints and tips to help combat the effects of morning sickness.

Food aversions or cravings
When you’re pregnant, you might find yourself turning up your nose at certain foods, such as coffee or fried foods. Food cravings are common too. Like most other symptoms of pregnancy, these food preferences can be chalked up to hormonal changes – especially in the first trimester, when hormonal changes are the most dramatic.

Headaches

Early in pregnancy, increased blood circulation caused by hormonal changes may trigger frequent, mild headaches.

Constipation
Constipation is another common early symptom of pregnancy. An increase in progesterone causes food to pass more slowly through the intestines, which can lead to constipation.

Mood swings
The flood of hormones in your body in early pregnancy can make you unusually emotional and weepy. Mood swings also are common, especially in the first trimester.

Faintness and dizziness
As your blood vessels dilate and your blood pressure drops, you may feel lightheaded or dizzy. Early in pregnancy, faintness also may be triggered by low blood sugar.

Raised basal body temperature
Your basal body temperature is your oral temperature when you first wake up in the morning. This temperature increases slightly soon after ovulation and remains at that level until your next period. If you’ve been charting your basal body temperature to determine when you ovulate, its continued elevation for more than two weeks may mean that you’re pregnant.

NO-EXERCISE NO-DIET LOSS BELLY FAT IN 5 DAYS

LOSS BELLY FAT IN 5 DAYS

Losing weight is an extremely popular fitness goal: over half of Americans list it as important to them.[1] Many people consider their stomachs to be especially troublesome, and research shows that visceral fat (around the internal organs) is the most dangerous to your health.[2] While you will not achieve major weight loss without diet and exercise, there are a few things you can do to slim your stomach line without heading to the gym or starving yourself.
Try tummy-control garments. There have never been more options in the undergarment industry for clothing that tighten, firm, and shape the midsection. Made mainstream by Spanx, tummy-control garments are available in many types for people of most sizes.
Women’s undergarments include tummy-control pantyhose, panties, high-waisted shorts, body suits, camisoles, and tank tops made of Lycra, elastic, or some combination. Most mainstream undergarment brands for women carry control top styles, but the most popular include Spanx, Soma, and TC Shaping. Buy your normal size and expect it to run small.
There are many options for men, including Spanx or Sculptees brand tank tops for men that target the abdominals. These are essentially compression shirts that whittle the appearance of the midsection. While results will vary, these companies claim their products can reduce the midsection by 3 – 5 inches (7.6 – 12.7 cm).

Take advantage of current trends in corseting and waist training.

This method involves wearing a binding garment across the abdomen. If done in moderation, corseting can create a thinner silhouette without any other lifestyle changes.
Some celebrities swear by corseting as a weight loss mechanism, and although doctors say it won’t actually help you lose fat cells, it can help you lose weight by cinching in your stomach as you eat so that you don’t have as much room to overeat.[3] In addition, the fat cell can expand or shrink, according to how much fat it is storing.
Be careful about wearing these too tight or too frequently. Because they can reduce your stomach capacity, you might vomit after eating even a normal sized meal. They can also contribute to heartburn and compress your organs.[4]
Purchase your corset at a store with a knowledgeable sales staff, who can help you fit it correctly and learn to lace it appropriately so that it is not too tight.

Easy and natural Uric Acid Treatments

simple and best uric acid treatment

Being healthy is not for special occasions. It is a day to day challenge to fortify yourself from within. Good nutrition is as important as cultivating certain healthy habits to reduce your risk of falling prey to some of the chronic lifestyle diseases that are becoming increasingly common.

With our hectic schedules and convenient choices, having high levels of uric acid is one such problem that many of you could face. Uric acid is a chemical found in your blood which is created when a substance called purine is broken down in your body. Purine is found in foods like peas, spinach, anchovies, mushrooms, dried beans and even beer. Most of the uric acid formed in the body dissolves in the blood and is excreted through the kidneys. If your body if producing too much uric acid or is not able to remove enough of it, it may lead to hyperuricemia. High levels of uric acid in the body can be detected through a blood test.

Bangalore-based Nutritionist Dr. Anju Sood explains this simply, “The three important components of food are carbohydrates, proteins and fats. After the proteins get metabolised the end product formed is uric acid which is removed from the body through urine. People who are obese or over weight may also produce more uric which often gets accumulated in the lower body.”
High levels of uric acid in your body can cause several problems. It leads to the formation of solid crystals within the joints which causes a painful condition called gout. It may also cause kidney stones and lead to kidney failure in severe cases. The amount of uric acid in your body can be detected through a simple blood test and therefore, it’s important to have regular check-ups.
The normal range of uric acid in your body is 3.4 to 7 mg/dL for men and 2.4 to 6 mg/dL for women.

Dr. Sood suggests, “You should drink lots of water to flush out the excess uric acid from the body. Also, eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables.” In addition to this, here are some home remedies may help you control high levels of uric acid.
